KD Drnovice u Vyškova Drnovice

The ceremonial opening of the Cultural Centre (then the Enlightenment House) took place on 8 April 1951 with a performance of Smetana's opera The Bartered Bride. Since it opened, many well-known and lesser-known artists have appeared on the stage of this cultural venue. Among them were bands such as Olympic, Arakain, Kabát, Citron and Team, as well as soloists Karel Gott, Jiří Korn, Jarmila Šuláková, Václav Neckář and many others.

The Cultural Centre was also used for various exhibitions, conferences and discussions, as well as performances by the local amateur theatre group, which has a long tradition in the village.
