Nádvoří jevišovického zámku Jevišovice

The original castle was built in the 14th century as the seat of one of the many members of the Lords of Kunštát of Jevišovice. In the 16th century, one of his descendants had the castle rebuilt as a Renaissance chateau. A century later, under Ludvík Raduit de Souches, the chateau acquired its Baroque appearance. Its last owners were the Offenheims of Potexin, who owned the property from 1916. Today the chateau belongs to the state and houses a permanent exhibition of the Moravian Museum.
