The tradition of the Masaryk Circuit dates back to 1930, when a natural track was created along roads on the outskirts of the expanding city of Brno. Since 1965, the Masaryk Circuit has traditionally hosted the world's most prestigious motorcycle championship – the Grand Prix motorcycle road racing series.
The current Masaryk Circuit was built between 1985 and 1987. It is a top-class racing track that meets the strictest criteria for hosting prestigious international motorsport events.
