Fabrika Svitavy

The multifunctional educational and cultural centre Fabrika Svitavy was established in 2008 by converting an old factory building in the town centre. The former industrial complex was transformed into a modern educational and information centre. Its facilities include a modern library, theatre and conference hall, and stylish restaurant. This impressive four-storey building has become a meeting place, and its architectural layout focuses on openness and connections between the interior spaces.

At the heart of Fabrika is a modern library offering high-quality information services and supporting education and study. There is also a fully soundproofed conference and theatre hall equipped with audiovisual technology for presentations and screenings. The conference hall also has interpreting booths for international events.

The stylish Fabrika restaurant, with 80 seats, offers a rich selection of dishes and quality wines. Next to it is a freely accessible lounge with 40 seats, suitable for business meetings, private events and celebrations.

In addition to the library, theatre hall and restaurant, Fabrika also houses the Svitavy cultural services centre, the Krůček family centre, a seniors' club, a sales gallery, a second-hand bookshop and the CMS TV studio, along with other institutions that enrich the town's cultural life.
