Melodka se specializuje hlavně na tvrdší kytarové žánry - různé odrůdy metalu, punk a hardcore. Hraje se tu ale i hip-hop, pravidelně vyprodané koncerty zde mívá “sprostý” písničkář Záviš. Kapacita klubu je maximálně 300 lidí.
Co jste možná nevěděli je, že na původní adrese - tj. na Kounicové - fungovala hudební kavárna “Melodie” již od roku 1929 (a už tehdy se jí říkalo Melodka).
