Dad Takes a Shot

Czech Theater's fall play is the dark comedy “Dad Takes a Shot” by Jiří Pokorný, translated by David Short. An “epidemic” of violence breaks out at a late-night bistro. To take a shot: to try, to kick a ball, to drink alcohol, to fire a gun. Or all four!
