Ponava Cafe s.r.o.

At the edge of Lužánky Park in central Brno, right next to the conservatory, stands Ponava Café, which offers a varied cultural programme alongside excellent beer, wine and coffee.

The interior is very intimate, making it ideal for carefully curated events intended for a smaller audience. It hosts performers exploring the boundaries of genres (free jazz, alternative singer-songwriters) and one-off or improvised projects. In the summer months, events move outdoors for a larger audience; the season opens in May with the four-day Ponava Fest.

In addition to concerts, the venue also hosts author readings and exhibitions. The café even runs the online Radio Ponava, where you can listen to concert recordings and interviews with artists.
