Carpet Cabinet /support: Pixels of the Universe

Carpet Cabinet is a Czech/Slovak dynamic multi-genre band known for their energetic live performances. This collective of 8 musicians performs their original compositions blending genres like hiphop, funk, jazz or r'n'b with the heavy influence of electronic music, making the most of their instrumental constellation including brass section or beatboxing and raps.

The band has played extensively all over the Czech & Slovak music scene including well known festivals such as POHODA (SK}, United Islands (CZ}, Orava Jazz Fest and many more.

Their debut album „Be Good Stay Strong Live Long“ has been critically very well received and was nominated for the best jazz album of the year (Espirit 2016}.

Carpet Cabinet's performances are full of songs ranging between strict or soulish grooves of jazz hiphop fusion and blasting up-tempos for all those who love to dance.
