Graphic Design Workshop: Create a portfolio that stands out

Are you looking to make a career change to a full-time or freelance graphic designer? Just starting out in the industry and not sure how to build your portfolio? Or, have you been in the industry and want to change up the way you display your work? Come to our workshop to learn how to create or revamp your graphic design portfolio!
This will be a hands-on workshop to help guide you through the challenges of representing yourself as a graphic designer in the best way possible. We will go through the differences of setting up a portfolio as a freelancer (to gain the interest of potential clients) vs. how to present yourself in the best light to land that full-time gig.

After going through tips and tricks of building a powerful portfolio, you will get to work on your own alongside your fellow members. This workshop will give you a chance to collaborate, share ideas, ask for feedback and receive guidance.

The workshop will be led by the Design Group Co-leader Catherine Eager. Cat is a Graphic Designer and photographer by trade. After working in Boston and New York City as a graphic designer she moved to Prague two and a half years ago. For her first year and a half in Prague Cat focused on her freelance work and for the past year she has worked as a Senior Designer in the marketing industry. She specializes in developing brand identity systems and is always on the look-out for ways to progress on a professional and personal level.
