Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. Composed of:

Marcin Pater Trio has won Grand Prix of Jazz Juniors Contest in 2018 in Cracow, Poland. Also, they have won both the first prize as well as the best composition for the piece titled “Take Down” on Sibiu Jazz Contest in Sibiu, Romania. Additionally, they were honored with first place on the RCK PRO Jazz Festival in Kołobrzeg, Poland. Furthermore, they became finalists of B-Jazz International Contest in Leuven, Belgium. We played on: Sibiu Jazz Festival (Romania), Fara Music Festival (Italy), Nisville Jazz Festival (Serbia), Jazz Nad Odrą (PL), RCK PRO Jazz Festival (PL), NOSPR (PL) and more place.
Their music is primarily the leader’s compositions, which oscillate around widely understood jazz. It can be characterized by light and lilting melodies played by vibraphone which is leading the band. The instrument give them unique and original sound which makes the band unconventional.
