A great honor was the invitation of the band to present their debut album "Humanity" in the exclusive series of concerts JAZZ.PL-live broadcast in 2nd Program of Polish Radio.
Filip Żółtowski Quartet combines in its concept the traditions of jazz playing with modern sounds and melodic themes, also drawing from Polish folklore.
It is a fusion of jazz music, often highly improvised, with electronic sounds, inspired by producers known more from the pop or EDM music scene (e.g. Flume, Medasin), as well as hip-hop beats in the style of James Yancey's production (J. Dilla). If we were to define the main point connecting this fusion of genres, it would be jazz, inspired by the style of Steve Coleman and Five Elements, or Brad Mehldau.
