Letošní ročník klubového festivalu Batch nabídne v sobotu 4. října netradiční večer v Červeném kostele, kde zahraje německá muzikantka a zvuková umělkyně Rosa Anschütz. Ta ve své tvorbě spojuje kompozici, instalaci a performance. Mísí temnou atmosféru post-punku a cold wave s éterickou polyfonií a syntetickými melodiemi.

Rosa Anschütz vydala tři řadovky. Nejprve album Votive (2020), které doprovázelo devět hliněných soch inspirovaných děkovnými dary. Druhá nahrávka Goldener Strom (2022) byla uvedena v Deutsche Oper v Berlíně a deska Interior (2024) obsahovala devět skladeb, z nichž každá je doprovázena ručně šitou "krajinou" s flitry přímo od Rosy Anschütz.

Její práce byly vystaveny a představeny na místech jako Goethe Institut v Tokiu, Mayhem v Kodani, Silent Green, Deutsche Oper a Künstlerhaus Bethanien v Berlíně, Supersonic Records v Paříži a Karmen Carmina ve Štrasburku. Hrála na takových festivalech, jako jsou například Audioriver, Grauzone, Plissken a Donaufestival.

Jejím nejnovějším dílem je filmová hudba ke snímku How to Be Normal And The Oddness of the Other World, který režíroval Florian Pochlatko. Film měl premiéru letos na 75. filmovém festivalu v Berlíně v roce 2025. Anschütz podepsala smlouvu s losangeleským labelem Heartworm Press, u kterého 26. září 2025 vychází její nové album Sabbtical.

Rosa Anschütz is a musician and sound artist whose practice synthesizes composition, installation, and performance. She blends the dark ambience of post-punk and cold wave with ethereal polyphony and synth-driven melodies.

Rosa Anschütz has released three LPs: Votive (2020), accompanied by nine clay sculptures inspired by votive offerings; Goldener Strom (2022), which was staged at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin; and Interior (2024), featuring nine tracks, each track accompanied by a sequined landscape hand-stitched by Anschütz.

Her work has been exhibited and performed at venues including the Goethe Institute in Tokyo, Mayhem in Copenhagen, Silent Green, Deutsche Oper, and Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Supersonic Records in Paris, Karmen Carmina in Strasbourg, and numerous festivals such as Audioriver in Płock, Grauzone in Den Haag, Plissken in Tavros, and Donaufestival in Krems, to name a few.

Her latest work is the movie score for How to Be Normal and The Oddness of the Other World, directed by Florian Pochlatko. It premiered at the 75th Berlin Film Festival in 2025.

Anschütz is signed to the Los Angeles-based label Heartworm Press with her forthcoming Album Sabbtical, releasing September 26th 2025.
