DEMOS Ensemble: Hudba 20. století | Komorní koncert

Jarní večer v centru Brna, klasická hudba 20. století a sklenka moravského vína.

Závěrečný koncert třídílné série v rámci projektu Musical Bridges of Europe, připravované ve spolupráci Multikulturního centra Brusinka, DEMOS Ensemble a Vinařství Válka, se vydá do hudebního světa 20. století a uzavře cestu, která začala raným romantismem a pokračovala obdobím vrcholného romantismu.

Stálé jádro DEMOS Ensemble tvoří hobojista Andrew D. Miller, klarinetistka Josephine Sapsard a klavírista Giulio Lo Monaco. Pro tento koncert se k nim připojí brněnská flétnistka Lída Trnavská.

Posluchači se mohou těšit na pestrý výběr klasických skladeb 20. století pro hoboj, klarinet a klavír, doplněný o charakteristickou barvu flétny. Večer nabídne další podobu komorního dialogu a otevře svět nových zvukových barev, kontrastů a hudebních možností.

DEMOS Ensemble spojuje hudebníky z České republiky, Velké Británie a Itálie. Třídílná koncertní série provede publikum od raného romantismu přes vrcholný romantismus až k hudbě 20. století. Na každém koncertě se k souboru připojí jiná brněnská hostující umělkyně.

Koncert je součástí Musical Bridges of Europe, mezinárodního kulturního projektu se zázemím v Brně. Projekt propojuje lidi prostřednictvím mezinárodních hudebních vystoupení, setkání s umělci a interaktivních workshopů a vytváří prostor pro kulturní výměnu a společné zážitky prostřednictvím hudby.

Koncertní série se koná za podpory městské části Brno-střed.

DEMOS Ensemble: Music of the 20th Century | Chamber Music and Moravian Wine

A spring evening in the heart of Brno, with 20th-century classical music and a glass of Moravian wine.

The final concert in the three-part series within the Musical Bridges of Europe project, jointly organised by Multicultural Centre Brusinka, DEMOS Ensemble and Vinařství Válka, ventures into the musical world of the 20th century, completing a journey that began with Early Romanticism and continued through the High Romantic era.

At the heart of DEMOS Ensemble are oboist Andrew D. Miller, clarinettist Josephine Sapsard and pianist Giulio Lo Monaco. For this concert, they will be joined by Brno-based flautist Lída Trnavská.

The programme will feature a varied selection of 20th-century classical works for oboe, clarinet and piano, complemented by the distinctive sound of the flute. The evening explores another dimension of chamber music, opening up a world of new colours, contrasts and musical possibilities.

DEMOS Ensemble brings together musicians from the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and Italy. Across three concerts, the series will take audiences from Early Romanticism through High Romanticism to the music of the 20th century. Each evening will also feature a different Brno-based guest artist.

The concert is part of Musical Bridges of Europe, an international cultural project based in Brno, Czechia. The project connects people through cross-border musical performances, artist talks and interactive workshops, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and shared experiences through music.

The concert series is held with the support of the municipal district of Brno-střed.

🍷 Every ticket includes a complimentary glass of Moravian wine from the family-run Vinařství Válka. Guests will also have the opportunity to discover and taste more of the winery’s wines before and after the concert.
